This was a great option...

Liked: We loved the character of the whole building. It was warm and inviting and historic. The people who worked there were also very nice. Club facilities were cool.
Disliked: Outside of the building was on a busy street. The car noise was tolerable though. The drummer out on the street one night was too much. But he stopped right on time to meet the city noise ordinance so can’t complain too much. Bathroom needs a few updates.

Liked: The hotel has almost everything I need. I love the hot steam so much.

Poor

Disliked: The pool is by reservations only, and wasn't able to swim one of the days because they didn't have a life guard. We had a king size bed, but it was sitting on a queen size box spring/bed frame, so the mattress was off and sagging downwards.

Like an elegant walk back...

Liked: Classic old hotel. Mostly nice staff. Beautiful.
Disliked: The pool is only Laps and you have to reserve a lap lane for 1 hour. Family swim is only two hours a day in the middle of the day.

Liked: Great location and old enjoyed the old charm
Disliked: Street noise was loud and the rooms were a bit dated

Cool old building close to...

Liked: The room was spacious and clean. I liked the access to the gym and pool. Nice staff and restaurant. Great location! I will stay again!
Disliked: The king size bed was a bit indented on one side. The hotel was empty and I could have gotten a room with a better view than the top of the roof. The carpet could use a good cleaning.
