Wouldn’t stop there again

Liked: The room was large,spotless and lots of facilities
Disliked: Entry by the fire escape(not sure whether this is legal or safe)No toilet brush in bathroom No lounge with a bar

Liked: The bed was comfortable room was quiet and clean
Disliked: There was a sewage odor coming from the toilet

Liked: The room was fabulous and the location was good for easy access to the town
Disliked: The only thing that I can say is that it would have been nice to have had a cooked breakfast there was only continental on offer.

Shame about the ‘breakfast’

Liked: Good location. Comfortable room
Disliked: Awful breakfast arrangements in a corridor outside the rooms, nowhere to sit, not enough cutlery. Although I’d asked in advance for fresh fruit and yoghurt to be available as I don’t eat bread/cereals, only bananas and sugary fruit flavoured yoghurts were available initially. Fruit offering didn’t improve but Greek yoghurt provided next day on request. Would’ve been better not to offer breakfast at all and knock £10 off the room price. Apart from check in, no engagement with staff.

Good

Liked: The rooms were really spacious & the bed was very comfy. Loved the artwork, lamps & coffee table area.
Disliked: The wardrobe & drawers need fixing. Doors didn't close properly or fronts of drawers were loose which detracted from an otherwise modern decor.

A lovely break

Liked: We liked the location, and the uniqueness of the hotel. A great room, a lovely restaurant, with great food. As there are only a few rooms in the hotel it makes it nice an cozy as well. The train station only a 10 minute walk away.
Disliked: There was nothing, we do have a suggestion though it would be nice to have a list of taxi telephone numbers in the room and a small map of Chesterfieild.
