Liked: The room was spacious, the location rural and picturesque
Disliked: The walls were a bit thin and we could hear people talking

Perfect for what we needed
Liked: Just stayed for one night and it was everything we wanted - liked the emergency box in the room!
Disliked: In the middle of nowhere

Liked: Everything had been thought of from a torch on the room key to an umbrella in the room. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and welcoming
Disliked: I suspect it could be a little noisy when full and TVs turned on - walls were a little thin although we didn't have a problem.

Not long enough!
Liked: When we arrived the Christmas lights were out and they were amazing it was like a winter wonderland! At breakfast my baby spilled coffee everywhere but the staff were lovely and helped to clean it up and couldnt do enough for us, the local food was a really nice touch too. And loved all the extras in the room, like the biscuits, bubble bath and emergency box. I would suggest putting in spare toothbrushes into the emergency box though. Definitely will stay again, thankyou!

Ok for one night. Could...
Liked: Nice enough stopover. Ease of access to Rutland Water. Comfortable bed, nice shower and bath, tea / coffee in the room, rural setting, probably lovely to sit outside in the summer, lots of car parking, dog walks from the door, very clean, seating areas in the room.
Disliked: Very bad WiFi at all times. No meals available on the night of arrival. Circumstances applied but we could have received advance notice? Booked breakfast for our room the following day as we were not supposed to leave the dogs in the room alone. Next day it did not arrive and we were subsequently told that they do not do breakfast in the room. Other meals can apparently be brought to the room for a £3 charge - not very clear really. Not sure why the member of staff did not say this the night before. Other guests all left their dogs in their rooms - so not sure why the rule applies. I was definitely not leaving our dogs in the car as advised by the staff. The walls really are thin. If you stay then hope for considerate neighbours.
