Liked: Location was great. No breakfast
Disliked: Maybe due to virus but could not have cocktails there.

Exceptional

Liked: Soniat house is in a prime location. It's located in the French quarter, but is not in the middle of all the bustle of Bourbon Street. It's a short walk to Frenchman, St. Louis cathedral, and even the business district. The service is exceptional. We stayed during a busy weekend, but felt like we could get away from the crowds and were still in New Orleans thanks to the historic courtyard at Soniat House. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to New Orleans.

Disliked: Limited breakfast menu. We were lead to believe that we could call for breakfast or beverages any time. When we called for coffee at 6 am we learned that was not correct. Be prepared to have to wait for the front desk person to have time to talk to you.

Disliked: No bedroom window to outside. Furnishings a bit tired though charming. Poor light in the bedrooms. Coffee poor.

New Orleans at its best!

Liked: Beautiful, absolutely charming old villa with an enchanting courtyard. Quiet room to the courtyard. Breakfast in bed is a must! Charming and helpful staff all around. All attractions are within walking distance. Would come again in a heartbeat!
Disliked: I would have liked to select my room more precisely. I didn't really know what I would get. It was fine in the end but I was thinking about a room to the street (glad I didn't pick or get it in the end because it's more quiet towards the back.

Liked: The hotel is beautiful, well located, and we were upgraded to a truly magnificent suite. The service was excellent and unobtrusive-it felt a bit like staying in a magic secret hideaway in the middle of town. I can?t imagine staying anywhere else.
