Liked: Clean and well located.
Disliked: Multiple aspects have been broken in the past and poorly repaired. Small things like toilet paper holder, etc

Nightmare booking on Sounders
Liked: The apartment was well equipped with all facilities. However the TV had no cable. Just a commcast connection.
Disliked: In all our travel history, we've never come across a situation where the location is marked by an address which had no access. We approached the building number given but found no keypad. On calling the company, we found out... after an hour of standing (on a mosquito infested street) and trying to verify our identity through a phone , that it was the Lola apartment complex (behind the address given on our booking page). The company should have clearly mentioned this name. Imagine, that you've made an account with Sonders, paid in full via credit card and yet you're frustratingly trying to get into your booked place. The only honourable mention here would be the Sonders rep, GIO, who stuck with us ... profusely apologising through this whole debacle. Because of this, we weren't able to get any dinner as all the restaurants had closed down which was a shame as we had come to Austin for one night to try the cuisine. Additionally, we could only use the car access code because the pedestrian access key to the complex was broken. We finally got in and the apartment was ok for amenities and size but housekeeping could have been better as there was a pile of dust on the headboards and one of the taps only had very hot water and no cold. The water pressure on the master shower was pret poor too. But the most disturbing aspect was having heard that the communal areas, ie lounge and hallway, may have video cameras. This made us really uncomfortable walking around and just relaxing. With improved directions, cleaning and privacy, the apartment could have been a lovely place but, as it stands, we will not book here again. I will add that it us on the second floor and we did not see any disabled access and if there was an elevator we were not aware.

Liked: Location was great, the apartment inside was decent, everything was working well incl.AC which was very important.
Disliked: Walls were paper thin. Water in the sink had very strong mold smell, I dont know if this is the case for Austin in general but it was gross. Some of the kitchen things where not very clean and there was plenty of dust on the floor (when I moved the bed there were thousands of dust bunnies, I had to wash the floor myself). The building was very dated and didnt feel super safe - if I?d known this will look like it and will be ground floor apartment I wouldnt have booked it. Also communication with the customer service of Sonder is very frustrating - people there are helpfull and kind but the app makes the communication a pain.

location was amazing but property...
Liked: location was excellent.
Disliked: property was run down. broken boards, dangerous hanging gutter outside our balcony that would blow in the wind and hit our unit. a lot of noise at night from a surrounding units.

Good area and enough room
Liked: It was so close to everything we wanted to be by. And it was clean inside the actual apartment.
Disliked: Out side in the hallway common ways it was dirty. Like tumbleweeds of trash and fur? Just needs to be given a thorough sweep through. Because steps had lots of debris as well.

Liked: The location is AMAZING. Walking distance to everything. Super close drive to the lake.
Disliked: Customer service is a little disorganized. You cant speak to anyone in person it all has to be done through a help line. Gave me the option for early check in and once I got there EARLY code to enter did not work. When I called Customer service they said there was nothing they could do & just had to wait for the original check in time. Threw our plans off alot since we had planned for the early check in like THEY had offered.
