Disliked: ThereWas a lot of Amish family’s there lobby and waiting area was very noisey. They were out of slll creamer and splendid at coffee bar WasUpset no hot tub

Wonderful stay, note to manager...

Liked: Breakfast was exceptional: fresh fruit, waffle maker, eggs, biscuits... nice variety. Dining area was spacious and had flowers on the tables. Staff was cheerful, very polite and professional. Facilities were spotless and peacefully decorated. Plenty of USB chargers. Overall, a refreshing and enjoyable stay.
Disliked: The pool size would accommodate a family with children, not as large as I would expect for a hotel.Note to manager: Upon check in, our reservation was mixed up. We were given a king instead of two queens. The clerk was kind and professional, apologetic; but she was not proactive in remedying the situation. She did eventually call a manager and change our room, but it seems she felt confined by protocols. I booked the room through an online agency, and showed her my digital confirmation. She referred us to deal with the agency rather than deal with it herself. While I was dealing with agency phone menus and frantically trying to find a charger for my dying phone, she did decide to call a manager. It turned out someone at the hotel doing data entry made a mistake.Before calling the manager, she stated several times it was illegal for her to change the reservation because it was made and paid for through agency. It appeared to me that she was following her training, but staff should be trained and empowered to proactively make things right. I doubt this will be a problem in the future.

Best breakfast

Liked: Our room was very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. By far the best breakfast at a hotel we have ever had. Staff was always friendly and visible.
