Exceptional

Liked: The staff was very nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was excellent

Good value for money but...

Liked: Really friendly staff, restaurant has limited options but implements seasonal menu's (good!) and quality is good! Rooms are spacious, clean but dated..Balcony into the park is nice for fresh air ,trees and bird sounds :-)
Disliked: Dated rooms, bad beds (too soft), pillow (some sort of hospital pillow), TV very old (not allowing to stream your own content , Netflix etc.) . Location is bad (from front, next to a hospital), arrival outdoor at front , is underwhelming and feels industrial

Hotel should not advertise as...

Disliked: This venue should NOT be advertised with swimming pool. The pool is only occasionally available to guests as it is used for classes. I booked hotel because of pool but was unable to use it when I arrived, was informed the next morning it was unavailable. I tried again on the morning I was leaving and reluctantly given a key and directed to go and find the pool in the dark basement. Lights were off and I was nervous to unlock pool and use it alone. Pool was not sign posted and I had to wander around basement corridors looking for it. To use I would have had to turn the power on. Very dissatisfied.Receptionist told me I should have read the small print!

Liked: Restaurant Staff was very kind during both breakfast and dinner service. Food was exceptional - value for money.
Disliked: It was unfortunate, not to have a water kettle or coffee machine in the room.
