Liked: Location, but they are old and need updating desperately!
Disliked: Not being able to select the condo , we were given a condo in very poor shape, had to move to another one on lower level, which obstructed the view of the WWII ship we went to see. For ----/ not, they should be all in the best top condition..family trip.

Liked: The location, it was beautiful!
Disliked: Parking. To whom it may concern, You really should consider putting up a NO PARKING sign in the paid lot thats literally right there. I thought it was hotel parking, as there a barrier between the two lots. I got a $70 ticket in the 7 min check

Liked: The room was clean and private
Disliked: On the website it never mentioned that you couldn't park on property. Therefor had to pay 15$ to park. Second you couldn't checkin at hotel. You had to walk three blocks to checkin at a different hotel. Third there is construction that's going on

Liked: Location was ideal, but the best part was The Ballast Hotel
Disliked: The room was dingy and disappointing. There as also construction all around which may it very difficult to find and navigate to and parking was not included but rather had to be purchased from the neighboring hotel

Liked: It was quiet and convenient to downtown.
Disliked: My room wasn't well lit. And it was a big hassle to have to check in down the street and lug my stuff, especially in the rain. My car was basically two blocks away. If you don't have a car anyway, this might be better, but no way to avoid the checkin hike

Very Poor. I'm surprised The Hilton managed this suite. Furniture was beyond second hand from a hotel and very badly beat up and falling apart. Bed was soft and lumpy. Toilet overflowed the first day we were there. No on site parking. See Con section for details.
Liked: Location was great for viewing fireworks that were part of Azalea Festival.
The Hilton did allow you to use their exercise facilities, which were located a block away.
Disliked: Suite 405 turned out to be privately owned but managed by the Hilton. The unit we were in was furnished with items apparently rescued from a warehouse of damaged hotel furniture: bed was extremely soft and lumpy, couch was equally soft and sagged in the middle, drawer pulls literally fell off in your hand when you tried to open the drawer - of course you could screw them back in but they fell off again the next time, one of the two matching console tables was too long for the wall it was placed against. There was no on site parking, you had to park at The Hilton and walk a block to the Riverview Suites which made for interesting unloading of luggage. The first morning we were there the toilet overflowed, although the Hilton sent staff down immediately to fix it, the bathroom was flooded and we used bath towels to keep it from flooding into the hall. A plunger was stored under the sink but it was too large to work effectively although it appeared to have been used before. The haridryer was in the same cabinet with the dirty plunger ...neither were bagged. Yuk!
