Thomas, Federal Way, visiting Alberta Rose Theatre Mon, 11 December 2017

Simple check in; clean room; just big enough. Overall, great place. I will come back next time I need a room in that area!

Disliked: Next time I will make sure no one is above me, or take a top floor. We could really hear the people up stairs walking.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Deborah, Myrtle Creek, visiting Doug Fir Lounge Mon, 7 September 2015

I will not stay at this motel again; overpriced with hidden added costs (parking, laundry); host at check-in was indifferent to my needs - I can get this kind of sub-standard service anywhere.

Liked: Decent bed.
Disliked: Parking fee was charged for no secure or valet parking; noisy.

Very Good - 4 out of 5

Michael, Kelowna, visiting Veterans Memorial Coliseum Mon, 6 April 2015

Very homey; good mall across street. Easy walk to Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Arena. Nice extras like popcorn and mints.

Liked: Just like being at home.
Disliked: 3rd floor with heavy bags and no elevator, but it was worth it for the quiet.

Okay

Liked: Megan at the front desk was fabulous, kind, empathetic to our concerns and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area when we had questions about places to dine or shop.
Disliked: Our first room smelled of smoke, our second room had pot coming through the vents. Our extra blanket had what looked like knife stab holes all over it. We were awake both mornings before 6am to the sound of creaking ceilings and our upstairs neighbor doing their morning routine. Very loud. When we asked to be moved to a different room that didn?t smell like smoke we were downgraded from a king bed to one queen bed. My cousin and I had to sleep with a pillow in between us so we could have some space. On top of being very over priced, we also had to pay $22 a day for parking which was refunded to us after we voiced our concerns. The accommodations were what I would expect from a room in the $70-$90 per night range, not $209 a night. The only amenities that were in the room were shampoo, conditioner and a bar if soap. No shower cap, body wash, toothpaste, lotion. For what we paid that was a disappointment.

Overall a good experience.

Liked: Everything was great inside the room. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the pool ! It was definitely the place to be that afternoon. Our boys had alot of fun.
Disliked: the parking fee of $22. It was a suprise to us since this is not our first time staying at this location. It may change our decision of staying here again.

To expensive for what you...

Liked: The location as well as the staff are nice. Close to Max station for convenient visit of Portland downtown.
Disliked: Breakfast room is a war zone!!! So crowded and simply not enough food and tables. No cleaning of the tables at all. Sofa bed is very uncomfortable, room only equipped for two people, noisy rooms, lack of water pressure and they forgot to clean the room

Overall, really enjoyed my stay...

Liked: Front desk attendants were really top notch. The first night I arrived really late and they assisted me, gave me directions for night walking and held a decent conversation while waiting for directions and check in. Breakfast was outstanding and I must say, out of all the places I stay in my travels I love yours.
Disliked: Even through breakfast was really, really satisfying, one morning only pork meat products was offered and I couldn't eat any. Ironically, avoiding the pork products helped me meet my diet challenge of avoiding meat. So I must say, a less than happy occasion was the blessing in disguise, because I love meat and if turkey, beef or chicken products were offered I would have given in to the calling of the meat. What?, did you hear that....( after the meat starts whispering to me)..."Hey, your still standing in front of us. Well, here we are! You know we're looking really good and we hear your stomach calling for us. Come on and put us on your plate....you know you want to and you have room...you really do have room...in your stomach and on your plate."

Fantastic location to the STP...

Liked: The breakfast was one of the best things about the stay. Better than 95% of all included breakfasts we have had. Please keep this quality and selection in your hotel!
Disliked: No elevators to upper rooms.

I probably would look somewhere...

Liked: We never had housekeeping our 2nd day. The king bed upstairs was nice, but a couple of queens or even smaller would have been nice. I did know that before I rented. The room was quite spacious.
Disliked: The wasted space in the loft. Only one person went up there because there was only one bed. Again, I knew that before I rented. Also, we never saw housekeeping our 2nd day. They came early on our last day, but we were leaving & sent them away.
