Liked: Everyone was polite and helpful. Very spacious rooms like a small house. Ideal for 2-3 persons for even a week or two. Very clean, good breakfast but served very early hrs (6.30-9.30 am)
Disliked: The location was 2 blocks away from WWII museum but on about half an hour walking distance from French quarter so over all relatively away from the main attractions (we had to take Uber most of the nights to return from French quarter).

Pleasant

Liked: Quiet neighbourhood and nice garden pool and outdoor space. Free oopcorn in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. Also, not too far to walk to canal stret or main areas of town.
Disliked: The hotel could do with an overall uodate. It was too expensive for what it offered. The 4th floor corridor has an overpowering mouldy musty smell, same as the room. The air con system is extremely old and inefficient, loud. There is no remote as it is switch operated and very dusty. The linen and towels are worn out and stained. There is no in-house cleaning during our three day stay. The room layout has to be re done as big TV is inconveniently placed on an office desk in the middle of the room, so it is very inconvenient to move around. I wish I had taken seriously the reviews I read about the hotel before booking and stayed somewhere else. It's way too expensive for what it offers. Would not recommend and would not stay there again.

Disliked: When I arrived in the early evening hours at the hotel, the front desk clerk said she knew nothing about the free breakfast menu. While she could tell me its location, she kept reiterating that she’s the night clerk and had no knowledge of what type of breakfast is offered. When I got to my room, the wall entry light didn’t work. Since I was exhausted from a long trip, and the front desk was too far away, I struggled in the dark to finally find a working light switch. The living and bedroom ceiling fans hadn’t been dusted and the carpets were very worn, soiled, and old. The refrigerator looked as if someone took a baseball bat to its door but the inside looked new. The kitchen area was well stocked and clean as was the bathroom. The bed sheets looked clean however it had a couple of old blue paint stains on them. The next morning breakfast was ok. The server was accommodating and friendly. I stayed 3 nights without any other issues. My last night was a Friday, however, and I heard children running rampant until around 11:30pm. Then frequent loud laughing and loud talking well until I left at 4am to catch my flight. When I checked out, both the security guard and front desk clerk were friendly. However when I asked them about all the noise that was still prevalent at 4am, their response was “We try.” I think this hotel should be rated more like a 2.5 star; DEFINITELY not a 3 star.

Liked: ONLY the location and that is it.
Disliked: I cant even know where to begin, but lets go. There was a constant and loud eletric "humming" on the room. The refrigerator is louder than a car. The shower is so low on water that almost only drips. The room has zero sound isolation. The staff is very rude (aside from the kitchen staff and the vallets that were ok) and the worst, are the guests that stays in this hotel. The loudest, bad mannared, drug users, that I ever saw in my entire life! Even families were so loud, coming in the middle of the night, screaming, banging doors and so on. And it didnt matter my complaining, the staff didnt do anything. It was a nightmare, and 2 nights without sleeping that got me sick on the days forward.I'm not kidding, I wouldnt stay in this hotel, not even if they payed me to be there again. What a waste of money.
