Disappointing

Liked: This visit .. no comment
Disliked: Staff were unpleasant and not very "accommodating" , stayed there in "lockdown" for my father's funeral and they were pleasant but next visit were more interested in the wedding party than us as a family

Liked: Breakfast was a bit strange because of COVID but the food was very nice. I asked if I could have a fresh fried egg and it was very nice. The spar was very good well organised.
Disliked: The hotel was very quiet but that’s because it was Christmas and with COVID

Very disappointing due to poor...

Liked: Overall appearance and location of of Hotel. Generous Room size.
Disliked: Although still good, hotel shows signs of being "tired" and suffering from lack of maintenance. Mattress was old/soft and bowed. Constant motor noise made for disturbed sleep. Seemed to be only a skeleton staff in that Reception was not continuously manned and only one staff member at Breakfast trying to do everything (clean tables, restock servery) yet Dinner was fully staffed. Health club has decent size pool but Steam room/Sauna/Jacuzzi were small considering size of hotel.

Great hotel, nice spa

Liked: I like this hotel, it is well located for me and the health spa is nice, worth the extra money . The breakfast was lovely and they did extra vegetarian sausages for us. Staff very friendly and professional.
Disliked: The health spa said it was open til 9:30pm and the email we received say 9:30pm. We planned our day around this expectation but when we arrived they said 7:30pm. Neither reception nor the spa staff acknowledged that this was a change from advertised hours or offered a reason. The room was lovely but walls a bit thin at points when others were loud. Some of the corridors had substantial wear and tear.
