Friendly staff.

Liked: Affordable price.
Disliked: The place had an old smell. There were only two small pillows on the bed. The wifi server never connected. Breakfast was not very appetizing. There were typed signs about all foods that are to be eaten in the breakfast room and are not to be taken out. There were also notes to tell you to get breakfast out of the refrigerator or closet. The only thing in the refrigerator was a jug of milk and a jug of tea. The tea was spoiled. My bed was not made up when I returned back to my room at the end of the day. I asked about the room service and I was told that if you spend several nights they normally don't make up the beds. But if I requested for the beds to be made up; it would not be a problem. In my bathroom there was not a stopper in the sink or tub. A previous guest left their boxer shorts in the lighting fixture above the sink in the bathroom. I was very disappointed in the reservation. I will not return to that hotel and I strongly advise others not to make a reservation there as well.

They were charging double because of Black Beach Weekend which I thought was a little too much but they obviously thought it wasn't.

Liked: Great location - everything is in the area including the beach, Mississippi Colisuem and the casino's etc. Breakfast was good and the check in staff were nice and friendly.
Disliked: The chairs, lamps and microwave weren't like new and the smell wasn't the best.

Not very nice at all. I wanted my money back after I had seen it in person.

Liked: Close to the Mississippi Coliseum!
Disliked: Not what we expected - not as nice as they make it look and not very clean.

I will never stay again....

Liked: I only liked the fact that the hotel was across the street from the State Fair.
Disliked: I did not like the check-in process. The girl nor the owner had a clue how to check in. Everyone was in line waiting for a very long time. You had to give a 50 dollar deposit in which they would give back after they go up and inspect your room at checkout. The 50 dollars is placed in a envelope with your name on it and locked in a box. So unprofessional. The owners are Asian and have crack heads running the front desk and cleaning their rooms. I saw a pimp and females along with drugs running out of the hotel all night and the owners are aware of this activity. They leave the side doors wide open all night. I had rat poo on my bed when I checked in and rooms are old with old tvs nothing like the pictures on the site. It is very misleading. There's no vending but the owner sells snacks that she bought from Walmart behind the counter. This hotel was worse than a Motel 6. I will never stay here again in life and thought about calling the police to bust them with these prostitutes. Awful! Keep your family and kids away from there.

This is a cheap nasty...

Liked: The dirty hall ways. The stinky rooms. The nasty iron.
Disliked: The undisclosed $50 cash room deposit. The dirty rooms. The desk attendant that smelled like a distillery. The post stay room inspection before my deposit return. The parking attendant who questioned if I was authorized to park in the lot after reading my parking pass on the dashboard. I didn't like the Christmas lights around the lobby fountain or the empty fish tank in the hotel bar.

Liked: Location was good bc the fair was across the street walking distance..
Disliked: Noise all night..breakfast was gone by 8 am staff said they wasn't bringing more out..police bangs on door at 1:30a.m asking did someone call from this room. After telling him no.! He said thanks for the just doing my job..previous to his knocking it was loud laughing outside my door i peeped through peephole and seen 2 officers and 2 women walking down the hallway. They were talking and laughing extremely loud.. 88 dollars was not nearly worth the stay..

Liked: I liked that this location was close to food restaurants and the expressway.
Disliked: Didn?t like how old and out dated the rooms looked, there leftover soap in a cup in bathroom from previous persons or persons ago as well opened coffee bag. There was hair in the shower, I?m assuming clean sheets and pillowcases but you could see old stains and hair on them. Also when pulled back comforter a black spider jumped out. Eventually fell asleep once I didn?t see anything else jump out or start to crawl around.

Very poor

Liked: There was nothing I liked
Disliked: Very poor upkeep, all doors to the building propped open at all times. Nights club included at location. Saw several sex workers in and out of the building. Room was covered in horrendous stains. Blood on the bathroom floor, no pillow cases.

Liked: Staff was friendly. Bed was clean and comfortable. Nice tv.
Disliked: Facility old, run down stray hairs in the bathroom. Trash one waste basket.Towels were old and dingy. Tub needed to be painted. Hallway smelled mildewy. Not worth the cost. Area seemed unsafe. They sell condoms at the front desk.....that says it all.

No wonder there was nobody...

Liked: The female that waited on us was more than courteous also she was very helpful in getting us to our room and everything I cannot fault her.
Disliked: Number one there was only one pillow on a double bed number 2 the fire alarm was hanging out of the wall by the wires number 3 the refrigerator had 2 pints of ice cream still in it from the previous customer also there was a cup of something in the door from the previous customer number for the bathroom had not been claimed that there was film all over the mirror. Number 5 the bathtub had some kind of crap all in the bottom we didn't even shower cuz it was so filthy the hand faucets and everything had never been wiped down number six the motel itself was hot it was not air-conditioned number 7 there was stains on the ceiling from somebody's greasy hand-prints also on the wall number eight the hair dryer had mold in the wall socket I have pictures of all of these if you would like to have it. When checking out the guy that was checked us out was more interested in going out and having a cigarette break than courteous customer service. There was supposed to be a breakfast there was no breakfast whatsoever anywhere he told us it was over by the van or the couch and there was nothing over there but a coffee pot not even any coffee pot made. And he and his cold heart went out and smoked we had to walk through smoke to leave because they were standing right by the door puffing on their cigarettes. Oh and for it to be a non-smoking room it sure did reek of smoke and there was Smoke throughout the building and I'm allergic to smoke so therefore I was not happy with the room for those reasons
