Liked: Easy access with public transport / main roadway, convenient to where I needed to go, food options nearby.
Disliked: No issues off the top of my head.

Liked: it was in a quiet neighborhood
Disliked: I booked a non smoking room but the room we were assigned REEKED of cigarette smoke. I have no idea why but the front staff wasn’t able to reassign us to a room that didn’t smell like cigarettes so we ended up moving to the La Quinta up the street. Red Roof has not responded to any of my requests for a full refund, including the first night. I spent 0 time in the room and am appalled that I would be expected to pay anything when the issue with the room is the properties fault. Booking.com refunded me half of what I paid the first night so thank you for that but please save yourself a headache with bad service and icky rooms. La Quinta ended up being a much better experience anyway
