The hotel was under construction during our stay but the inconvenience was minimal. I would like to return when it is done to see what they did with it. The location is perfect. A short walk to many restaurants and Michigan Avenue is right there! It was very easy to get a cab to were we needed to and the door men were very helpful in flagging them down for us. I plan to stay there again in the future.

Liked: Front desk people were super friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I was told to be upgraded into a room that turned out to be the smallest on the floor according to floor plan.I was asked if I want my room cleaned, which I kindly accepted. Turned out it was not cleaned the next day, towels still on the floor, shower gel not filled up. Floor was not clean.However, eventually they made up the room every following day.

Liked: Location is great. Staff was attentive.
Disliked: The hallways, elevators and rooms were small and narrow. Our room wasn't very clean. The floor was sticky and there was a crusty, dirty towel left on a shelf. The staff was attentive to getting it clean right away when I brought it to their attention but the overall cleanliness of the facilities and our room much left a sour taste in our mouth. The pictures of the place online make it seem much more spacious and warm/inviting. And it just did not live up to those expectations.
