Disliked: Very dirty; very smelly; not a hotel to be happy to go back.

Nice but could be better

Liked: I liked the room it was spacious and had two sinks in the bathroom and then somewhat of a kitchenette. The bed and linens were comfortable.
Disliked: It almost had everything we needed, would have nice to have some of the kitchen supplies to go with the kitchenette. Also the bathroom floor was not that clean, I don't know if it was actually dirty or just stained and old.

Disliked: The breakfast rule, can’t take breakfast back to your room. You have to eat in the breakfast room.

If just need to sleep...

Liked: The updated rooms looked good.
Disliked: Under construction is one thing. Two different rooms I stayed in the revamped rooms a week time had all the accessory lights broken in main except the one big lamp.

Need a place to stay...

Liked: They were very nice.
Disliked: When I walk into room it had a stench smell. Being in the room for a while got used to it then leaned over to charge phone and there was a urine smell. It smelled as if someone pissed next to bed.

Safety concerns

Liked: Key card did not work for entry door. Strong Marijuana smell inside the Halls of the complex. Even when we checked out. Upstairs persons loud aggressively walking across the floor all night until early in the morning and erupted into some type of fight where I heard a woman screaming and crying had to call the front desk wanted to call 911 but wasn't sure. I had to use my own cell phone because the room phone was not even working. I will never stay here again. It was such a nightmare and very emotionally disturbing such that I couldn't sleep all night long and when I got home I worried about what happened to the Woman Upstairs. I hope she's okay. The room was decently clean and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel is renting to tenants who are living there and I think that might contribute to what happened that night in the room above us. The doors are not secure and It's not very secure outside from the type of people that are hanging out there. I wouldn't recommend this Hotel or whatever they call it. I apologize that I have to write this review but I would recommend to management that you pay more attention to reviews like mine. Because this could be a good hotel if you take better care of it, as the hotel is conveniently located in a nice area of Modesto.
Disliked: The room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable and it was pleasantly clean, conveniently located within walking distance near restaurants and shopping stores.
