Good location, with old facilities
Liked: The best thing about Raffaello is the location. Very close to all the best things in Chicago. From the Lincoln Zoo Park (north) to the Millenium park (south). You can do everything walking.
Disliked: Very dark rooms. Clogged toilet (with "brown" water in the floor - if you know what i mean). Ridiculous small elevators. 10 bucks for a package delivered. But the rooms are very big (that`s a good thing)

Disliked: Staff not very friendly, it is not very helpful.

Very pleased - expectations met...
Liked: Front desk staff were very helpful. Housekeeping did a great job in room every day. Room was well- appointed and spacious (though it could use some sprucing-up). Location is ideal.

The hotel was well positioned...
Liked: Changed all the linen including the bed linen for second night. Appreciated it since we had paid the same amount for two nights.

Very happy with our decision....
Liked: Great location near Michigan Avenue and Water Tower Place. Nice staff that is helpful. We had a king suite that included a fold-out couch and a Murphy Bed. Kids loved it. Access to the DrumBar is nice when you're ready to settle in for the night (they don't allow you to charge to your room which is unusual for a hotel-based bar so bring your wallet with you).
It's a charming, older hotel with good staff. We booked at a reasonable rate and had everything we needed. They texted us when our room was ready (we were able to get in about and hour early) and they were very accommodating with a late check-out time.
Disliked: I believe they should allow you to charge drinks, etc. at DrumBar to your room but that's pretty minor and may have nothing to do with the hotel. In the rooms, there weren't a lot of glasses, etc. for drinks, etc.- this was easily remedied by calling the front desk.
