Liked: main door to our room jammed, old door. There was a coffee maker in our hotel and no coffee to put in the coffee maker. We could not get an early check-in and unable to see our room until after our event at 1am.

It was ok
Liked: The room size was very nice, quite spacious! But it could be because I had a double bedroom just for myself. Very nice that there was a desk in the room so I could work.
Disliked: I didn?t like that there was a coffee machine but no tee or coffee. I asked but they said its no longer available. Quite sad about that actually. Only large towel, there was no small one to dry my hair/face. The air conditioning was not adjustible, I felt rather cold in the room and woke up with a sore throat, was definitely not working properly, i set it to 90 F and still felt cold. Also it was blowing really strongly on a ?low? setting. Pipes were loud in the bathroom, luckily that wasnt a problem when the bathroom door was shut.

Liked: The bathrooms and beds were very clean and quite comfortable. Housekeeper was a sweet lady who obviously took cleaning seriously and it showed.The southern bar b Que resturant across the street was fabulous for breakfast.
Disliked: We planned to stay three nights. I reserved two rooms and requested adjoining rooms. One room a double queen and the other a executive king suite. Although the hotel wasn't able to do THIS, stating they had no adjoining rooms, they still only managed to get our rooms on the same floor but on opposite ends of the hall. I offered to change the type of room to arrange them next door but they didn't seem to be able to do this either.A coffee maker, fridge, and microwave with kitchenette sink are described in the amenities however there were no coffee k cups, Creamer, actual coffee cups to drink from, napkins or utensils. The first morning I called to house keeping to request the coffee makings thinking they were just missed in cleaning the room. The first response I got was they no longer offered coffee then they passed me on the three front desk and I was told they don't do coffee in my floor (7 of 18) because they are going thru a renovation. To which I asked them why did you rent the rooms on this floor and when is the renovation to take place because we saw no evidence of it. She then told me she'd try to get a couple coffee cups brought up. Later in the day I visited the front desk and hotel manager to insure I would recieve two coffee cups each morning in at least one of my two rented rooms. I tried again to get an understanding as to why a coffee maker was an amminity but not coffee or coffee cups. The manager told me she would make sure four coffee cups were delivered to me for our remaining days. She offered no explaination other than they were doing away with it because of renovations. And no coffee cups were delivered in our remaining days. The house keeper did however leave our original two used coffee cups in the kitchenette for us to re-use. How pleasant!

Liked: Fantastic position, really close to the Magnificent Mile
Quiet and comfortable room
Disliked: No water seller machines inside the hotel, no breakfast

Disliked: Found bedbug in bed, did not stay our ex night will not return.
