Gorgeous hotel, wonderful staff. Great...

Liked: The hotel is gorgeous; the views are stunning and the staff are wonderful! We had a king room and it was super comfortable and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous, very modern and the shower was lovely! Food was gorgeous and we ate every meal looking out over a stunning view across to Skye. Breakfast was a lovely buffet but we felt a little expensive for £17 per person. There is a great deal to explore on the island of Raasay and staying here let us do just that! We had a wonderful time and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you and were so welcoming of our two dogs (even when they were soaking wet and muddy!). The hotel had great amenities such as a games room and library to sit in as well. The food was delicious and they truly are dog friendly which made us feel right at ease.
Disliked: Really minor fault: in the room we stayed in there was no full length mirror; the only mirror to use to get ready was in the bathroom which wasn’t ideal when there were two of us - especially if one was trying to get ready and the other using the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff

Liked: Beautiful property. Room was comfortable. Lots of different activities around the hotel for entertainment. We enjoyed the game room and library. Dinner was fantastic. The pistachio chicken breast with haggis was my favorite meal throughout our whole stay in Scotland. Breakfast was also good with a nice variety. Wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Disliked: Took off one star due to hot water and wifi issues. The shower in our room was only slightly above lukewarm, I could not get the temperature any hotter. After a cold day hiking, a hot shower would’ve been nice. Also, the WiFi is not very strong. I had trouble connecting, and it was spotty when trying to do some work.
