Liked: Location was convenient for my needs.
Disliked: The roaches and ants in the room, the cheap air freshener used by the cleaning staff. It was so strong my head was stuffy, and my eyes watered for the entire visit. The staff couldn’t offer any help except to tell me to open my window. Temperatures this past weekend were in the 40s at night. The first room they gave me reeked of cigarette smoke. The second room they gave me wasn’t made up yet, it wasn’t ready, there weren’t even sheets on the bed. I stayed in the third room, in spite of the smell from the air freshener because they told me that’s what the cleaning staff uses in all the rooms. The front desk made no apologies for any of this. While their English was grammatically correct, their Middle Eastern accents were so heavy they were very difficult to understand. Breakfast?, a cheap effort, and I’m guessing they were probably some health code violations also. Most of the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and/or pot smoke, in spite of signs posted everywhere that it was a no smoking hotel. And they charged my debit card for the full stay when I checked in. I’ve never experienced that before and didn’t appreciate it at all. I didn’t notice it until the day I was getting ready to leave. I’m about to leave my review on Yelp so others don’t have to suffer. Every single time I went to the front desk there was someone else there complaining about something to do with their room. This place is awful and the staff seemed clueless about how irritated and disappointed their guests were.
