Decent clean and good location...

Liked: The wife and I decided the last minute to stay about two hours from home while car shopping, no bags or any prep, so we looked for a value place to crash for the night, found this motel close to the dealership we planned to visit, made reservations and hit the Wal-Mart for the next day's clothes. The place was clean and serviced well, but it is clear it is a value motel. Served the purpose as intended, no mints on the pillow but we didn't pay a mint-on-the-pillow price.
Disliked: Simple things, for example, our room was off the pool deck which is behind the lobby, the back lobby door was locked and the clerk made my wife and I walk around the outside in the rain to access our room when we could have gone out the back door of the lobby and into the back hall with very little rain exposure. Guess they didnt want to get the floor wet. The room was nice enough, but I was a little mystified by the light coming in all around the door... no seal at all? Otherwise all was good for the price.
