Nice place in a military...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate. Gym. Pets allowed. Clean. Plenty of parking. Business center. Walking distance to eateries. WiFi bandwidth sufficient. Easy access to highways. Climate control was comfortable. Big TV.

CHEAP place in more ways...

Disliked: We were financially stressed due to sickness, automotive troubles and life in general. So coming to town for my Granddaughter's baby shower, [ I was going to be Great Grandpa for the first time] we decided to save some money and stay at a cheaper place. The ratings seemed like something we could live with. At check-in the clerk didn't know if key cards would work on rear doors, he said there were NO ELEVATORS and he said there were no 1st floor rooms available so we were on the second floor. He said there were stairs at the END of the halls. For a disabled senior this was a challenge. We found out the key cards DIDN'T WORK on the rear doors OR ANY outside door. We had to park on the side of the building, then carry all of our baggage around to the front entrance, down to the end of the hallway, up 2 sets of stairs and down to the end of another hallway to our room. We were exhausted. Hotel/motel was old, the carpets were worn and needed replaced, the wall in our room was falling apart by the heating/cooling unit. The whole place had a oder to it. It appeared that the "WHOLE" family were staying/living in the place and hovered around the front desk area. On Sunday at our check out, we discovered their coffee thermos' empty and the breakfast bar CLOSED at 9am even on Sunday. A lot of people traveling with their families like to sleep in a little late on the weekends since check out wasn't till 11am. There wasn't anyone at the front desk so we left our key card on the desk and left. Next time we will pay a little more to get a better place. You get what you pay for!!!!
