Awful motel, horribly ovverpriced

Liked: The only thing nice about this stay was the waffles at breakfast
Disliked: Sketchy location, down a service road, next to the highway. Room was dirty, mold and peeling paint, awful lighting, banged up front door with gaps and chewed out locked on the door jam. Uncomfortable bed that smelled like a dirty, sweaty man. Loud men walking about all night right outside our door who were smoking cigars and weed all night seeping into our non-smoking room. Overall awful and reminded me of a motel 6 room I stayed in back in 1995 that cost $49 yet this cost us $300+

Disliked: hotel was not clean and there is mold everywhere. Even the fridge and microwave were patched with mold. We turned the heater and it started smelling so bad that we had to leave the door open & stayed outside for the whole time since filter is not cleaned.

Disliked: The room smelled like dogs and cigarette smoke- Did not stay- Once I opened the door, and stepped in, I closed the door and went to my car and started looking for other hotels. Was in town for the Cooper River Race so, a lot of hotels where booked but Townplace Suites in the same area had one room. Just very disappointed because the pictures on line you posted did not give the true look of the hotel. But the front desk person was very nice, and apologized for the inconvenience and they did credit my card back for the one night I had paid for, which they stated would take 5-7 business days before I see it back on my account.

A quiet budget friendly hotel...

Liked: Clean and quiet motel. Front desk staff efficient and friendly.
