The Ponderosa Motel was a short distance from the Mary Hill venue, it was clean and the people were nice. Breakfast was a surprise for us and it was just as good as some of those big hotel chains. I will stay again!

Liked: Clean; friendly people; breakfast was served before we left in the morning for home!
Disliked: Couldn't take breakfast to the room and there was not enough outside seating. The dining area was small and hot.

A wonderful place to stay

Liked: Awesome rooms -- clean, comfortable, good size and well-furnished. Essentially a studio apartment; our corner unit had two windows. Office staff was friendly, good senses of humor. Breakfast was filling and had mostly anything you could want (except oatmeal?). Pity we weren't staying longer.
Disliked: Front building rooms could be noisy since they're street-facing, but little to no traffic at night, so not a big thing. Breakfast room is on the small side. Breakfast was good but would have preferred plain scrambled eggs rather than the "everything" type. (Maybe that's the regional style?) Spouse felt the bed was too soft and didn't sleep well. Really just minor quibbles -- the place is great!

Liked: I enjoyed my one night stay here. The room is clean and comfortable. Very quiet also.My favorite part was the breakfast. One of the best motel breakfast that I have had.Goldendale is a very nice small town.
