Christine, Onancock, VA, visiting Baltimore Soundstage Tue, 13 August 2013

We had a balcony water view room (go for that, you'll be glad you did - price is not too bad for water view w/ balcony) - liked it very much. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the concert at the Baltimore Soundstage. I would definitely stay there again!

Liked: Great location; cute retro decor; friendly front desk staff; good security; clean; two great restaurants connected.
Disliked: None, really. My husband somehow expected a free breakfast in the lobby, but it didn't come with our room deal. I didn't care about that.

Nice location but too many...

Liked: The location was really good . Nice to walk around also loved the free buses.
Disliked: The reception staff need to be more accurate with what they tell the guests upon check in.I knew when I booked there was a charge for breakfast but we were told it was included, so naturally we ate there but by the time we could check our bill ( via email ) there was a charge. Also we were told that we could access the cruise port on foot … not true . 10 minute drive. I naturally thought internet was free but there was a charge, my fault for not reading all the details, just saw that it was available at the hotel.

This hotel is great for...

Liked: LOVED the location. Rooms were great - good size, reasonable, amenities, etc. Service was fine - not overly friendly but got the job done. Really appreciated the convenience of the commuter water transport. Per the prompt: didn't do the breakfast since it wasn't free.
Disliked: Would be great if the hotel had more relationships with local attractions and provided that information proactively, esp. given its location.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Liked: We are Hilton members but decided to book through your site. I would like to tell you about our experience which I can say disappointed doesn't; event come close.Arriving at the hotel we see nowhere to park. I had to walk into a very confusing area that did not look like a hotel lobby with the check in desk tucked into the side to see the person on their cell phone. WHen I asked where am I supposed to park she quickly gave me directions (that I had to ask her to repeat) where I had to go drive down the street, behind a black gate.......I booked a "King Room with Balcony & Harbor View. Not obstructed view that has a balcony with weeds growing under foot, rotting wood to look at and I had to hang over the balcony to get any good view. Forget about taking pictures. There was fog on the sliding glass doors (obviously the seal broke) that were also filthy dirty that you had to squint to see outside. The carpet felt dirty, you had to hold down the toilet handle when flushing or it would not flush, the shower head looked like it was bought at WalMart it was so small and cheap lookingWe asked for extra blankets and had to wait an hour for someone to bring them.We paid extra for the breakfast, which was also a disappointment. We were in this big room, floor to ceiling windows that were also filthy dirty and fogged due to the seal broken on those also. The tables & chairs had these black covers on them. We had to change tables 3X because the tables were full of crumbs and food from the last guests. The food: potatoes & grits that were in a chafing dish that I guess was not on were cold. Is that safe? The syrup is sitting in direct sunlight. Is that safe? The only thing that was hot was the coffee. The hostess that walked to our table to take dishes had nail applique jewels. Is that allowed in any food service employee? I do not need to have one of those fall in my food.
