No hassle, better than expected. Independent access door, and a well supplied kitchen. Milk and tea/coffee was available when we arrived, which is a really nice touch. Took about 15 minutes to drive to Long Marston Airfield for a festival, and no problem with access at 3a.m.! We left a charger plugged in when we departed and owner mailed this back to us.

Liked: Comfortable; easy; friendly owner; everything we needed.
Disliked: Low ceilings/beams and walking through one bedroom to get to the main bedroom.

Liked: the properties are beautiful with lovely surroundings
Disliked: When I booked I was sent a long list rules on what I could and could not do whilst staying at the property (emphasis on the 'can not'). IE 'DO NOT TRESPASS' - the language and tone was so uninviting. - the owners should try reading the book 'raving fans' We were made to feel quite unwelcome by the owners. It was my dad's 60th birthday & we were quite taken back/ upset by how abrupt the owners were towards us. Very unapproachable and unhelpful - certainly not the communication I would expect from people in the hospitality industry. Check-in at 16:30 pm seems quite unreasonable when the check-out is 10 am. I did ask if it would be possible to arrange early check-in but I was refused without any sort of flexibility.

A great stay, bathroom just...

Liked: Very picturesque, very clean, perfect for what we needed as a small family of 3. Ideal location.
Disliked: The bathroom door did not shut properly, fine for us but if I was visiting with friends I would not feel comfortable. The hot water on the shower also did not work, it came on in bursts when you were mid shower so would either be scalding hot or freezing cold there was no in between. Again fine for us as we were only there for a short time but my daughter couldn’t shower and we wouldn’t have wanted to use these facilities for a longer stay.
