Nice surprise and happy to recommend the hotel.

Liked: Room was surprisingly comfortable. Decor was not as fussy as appeared in pics, and the bathroom was a nice size for NYC. Staff was super friendly. Hotel was well located for my work event, but a few blocks outside the typical tourist zone. Walking to restaurants and subway, and easy access to the airports.
Disliked: Arrived early but missed breakfast. I think the breakfast must have closed around 10 and I arrived just around that time. Not a complaint but something for early arrivals to be aware of.

Newly renovated, nice neighbourhood, spacious...

Liked: Newly renovated, very close to subway, but also very easy to walk around (we walked to Highline), nice Indian restaurants around the corner, spacious rooms. Very nice staff. 12pm checkout and safe bag storage.
Disliked: The beds are Full size, not Queen and quite soft. Not a big problem, but a bit tight for our family. :-)

Good but breakfast needs help

Liked: Staff was friendly. Restaurant had tasty food. Overall, it was quiet. Nice lobbies.
Disliked: Two mornings in a row, the restaurant was out of most of the food, including espresso beans- so no coffee either. The staff tried hard, but the way breakfast was setup also took a long time. Could take 30 minutes to get food.

Liked: Location was great. Loved the fresh water jug in the lobby. Chuck Norris was incredibly helpful with directions.
Disliked: Water pressure.
