When we arrived we were greeted by a pleasant attendant who gave us our room key and away we went. Not sure what level our room was on we aimed for the middle floor - room 106. We had to go back down as it was on the first floor (we are novices at this game, we didn't know that the first number represents the floor number); arrived at the room and there were two singles and we couldn't get the electric on; back down stairs to say we ordered a double and the power didn't work; got a new room and told how the power works; 406 (level 4 room 6 - getting the hang of this). Get to the room and it's two singles made up as singles joined together with a double duvet on top - bit of a disappointment. Room was clean and modern, but no biscuits to go with your cup of tea/coffee (we've been to some cheap hotels and even they manage this). We paid £150 for one night and you would think you would get more than this. We went out for the evening and came back about 11pm. Had a cuppa and went to bed, my wife fell asleep fairly quickly however I was woken up on the hour every hour that night with the noise of the public outside and the steady drone of the heating which was on as it was cold in the room when we came in. Last time I looked at the clock it was 4.30am and that was someone coming up the corridor blazing drunk and singing. I woke up at 7am and that was me for the rest of the day (like a zombie). Never manged to get the WiFi going in this room (it's not easy). The shower was good in the room; the room comes with it's own safe which we used and it worked fine. We got a bottle of wine which we took as it looked like a freebie (hopefully we haven't been charge for this). We stayed in the hotel on a Saturday night which in hindsight probably wasn't a good idea especially with it being in central Glasgow.
Liked: Clean and tidy.
Disliked: Heating is loud; given a double bed with two singles underneath; outside noise.

It is what it is.
Liked: Good location in Central Glasgow, ideal for trains, eats and bars.
Disliked: There are doors everywhere. I seemed to be forever getting lost. It functions more like a sleeping quarters than a hotel. There is a small and sparse lounge but really it?s check in and head straight for the room.

Liked: Excellent location close to variety of restaurants, shops , cinema etc.
Disliked: Bit of a maze of corridors...our room 505 was right at the top with a very restricted window above head height which made it feel a bit closed in but as we were only staying one night was no big issue.
