Great potential. Really cool place,...

Liked: Great location in cute neighborhood. Old historic hotel with cool rooms, each with a unique theme. We were in Ken’s safari room. Jungle vibes and filled with all kinds of cute decor and antiques.
Disliked: Our carpet was damp the entire time. It was clean but damp from what appeared to be a carpet clean in right before we arrived. When I mentioned it to the property manager or whoever he was, he didn’t even apologize or offer anything. I’m not one for trying to haggle or get discounts, but it would have been nice if he maybe offered something. Then when I asked if we could have a late check out on our final day after staying there for 4 days, he wouldn’t let us stay later than 11:30 am. Any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at lets me do a noon check out when I ask. Especially with the wet carpet issue, that was very disappointing to me to not allow another 30 minutes. Also, no breakfast was included even though they advertise breakfast included. That was very disappointing as well. He mentioned it’s new ownership, so seems like they’re waiting to remodel and in the meantime just not really very personable or helpful to the guests.

Disliked: Just have the appropriate number of face towels, was missing one for the towel set.

Disappointed at the PANAMA HOTEL

Liked: I used to love this hotel. Now it seems so used up. It wasn't very nice anymore it was run down and it smelled old.
Disliked: I don't really like this hotel anymore. I won't be back.

Quiet location, very friendly hosts

Liked: Easy walking distance to Safeway and 7-Eleven. Muffin mania right on the corner next to the hotel.
Disliked: Going through a construction phase.

Liked: Small room with balcony. Great location within walking distance to main street with restautrants and shopping. Supermarket is close by.
Disliked: Breakfast is only cereal, nothing else. Around the corner is a café with breakfast.
