A last minute booking, maybe...

Liked: The location was good and quiet. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Disliked: The shower was something to be desired, outdated room in need of refurbishing. The toilet did not flush had to ‘pump’ the flush to get it to work. The windows were filthy with inside cobwebs. There was even a half empty bottle of pop left in the room

I have stayed in cleaner youth hostels I am requiring a refund as this was meant to be a break away for my wife's 50th birthday. Was a good location, but...

Liked: It was located where we needed to be
Disliked: Needs renovation, bath was disgusting with something spilled and stuck in it,Mirrors were covered in toothpaste and water marks not been cleaned properly at all and all windows are foggy and outside needs a good tidy up

Manageable

Liked: It was manageable. Fit for purpose. The second staff member was more understanding and helpful compared to the first one who checked us in
Disliked: You walk in and are greeted by an awful toilet smell as you approach the reception. Seemed like a blockage. One of the rooms was not cleaned at all. Tv was on, heating was on, bed not made. Curtains had a massive stain. Its was absolutely unacceptable, soap dispensers were empty. There were mosquitoes, maybe because of the area of the hotel but l guess windows could be shut at night to avoid that. Had to ask to be moved rooms, which were so much better but still could have been better.

Disliked: Bathroom was dirty had hairs in bath ,bed sheets had yellow stains on them no remote to the tele etc more
