Ended up in different hotel

Liked: Nice staff
Disliked: The hotel was not Bank Street and we were taken to a different hotel across the street. It was rather dirty. Front door broken. Small room and bathroom. Comfortable and in good place for North Blackpool.

Scam ! Hotel doesn't exist...

Liked: Nothing because we didn't end up staying here
Disliked: On the 1st October at 6pm the hotel cancelled are booking I'm going to put this down to because we hadn't checked in yet but I did message to say it would be after the firework display. Anyway they sent me a message saying they had "upgraded" us free of charge to another hotel Alumhurst hotel which I looked up on here see what it was like and after reading the reviews we said absolutely not are we staying there its filthy and disgusting how is that an upgrade !! So I messaged the property again not long after saying we would like to accept their refund they offered if we didn't want to take up the new hotel offer. Unfortunately due to signal been none existant last night my last message didn't go through straight away. I have messaged them again today asking them to start the refund process

Disliked: I didnt get to stay here , they cancelled me 10 days before i was due to arrive abd sent me to the alumhurst oyo away down the other end of where i was

"Upgraded" to Alumhurst Hotel. NEVER...

Liked: Nothing! This was supposed to be an upgrade due to essential maintenance at the hotel we booked.
Disliked: We didn't stay at the hotel we booked we were "upgraded" to Alumhurst hotel and if this was the upgrade I'm glad we didn't go to the original hotel! The bathroom was dirty shelf still had toothpaste marks on it skirking was all dusty and dirty. Wallpaper was all ripped ceiling was all cracked bed mattress was cheap and wafer thin. Staff literally gave us the key when we arrived and that was it. No iron or anything available. In all if we hadn't made plans to meet friends we certainly wouldn't of stayed.

Liked: Nothing it was a scam there is no bank Street hotel they rang an told me it had been set on fire an I had been moved to another hotel other side of Blackpool so more money in taxis a need a refund ASAP
