Liked: We love Oglebay. This was our third trip in two years. The staff is always pleasant. The grounds are always well kept, and the kids love the pool. However, the beds are very firm. There are also no microwaves in the rooms. Otherwise, we love it there!

Stopping point between Indianapolis and...

Liked: We needed a place to stop on route. We had been to the property before. We got an amazing rate because the property is under renovation. The renovation may have affected our stay if we were staying for multiple days, but did not for our purposes.

Might be back to see...

Liked: Property was under renovation so getting coffee was a little less convenient than it probably is normally. It would be nice to offer free coffee in the lobby. Shower was nice, shampoo left my hair shiny. :DI liked the availability of things to do on the property although we didn't have time to do them. We left before the glass museum opened, and I'd be interested in seeing that.
Disliked: I thought I paid for a lakeview room on booking.com but maybe there isn't a room with a view of the lake and the name is simply 'premium lakeview.' I booked the room for a single night while we were on the highway and I hate using my phone to look for detailed info. Honestly, that wasn't really a problem. This king-sized resort room cost less than a standard king-size room in a city hotel. We arrived at night and it was a little difficult to find our way around the property in the dark.

Liked: Everything was terrific. Loved our room and the resort. Though we were only there overnight and didn't use any of the amenities, we give it 5 stars!
Disliked: The bed was too firm for us so we had difficulty sleeping but that's a personal preference.
