On our arrival, front desk clerk was nice and courteous. Rooms were clean but we thought it was too small. Beds are marked queens but felt like full size beds. I was not too impressed with our room.

Liked: Walking distance to river walk.
Disliked: Small room and needs a lot of structure repairs.

Lovely Hotel

Liked: The Man at the Front Desk at check in was very kind and the lady in evening shift was kind also. Staff was great our room was very comfortable got a good night's sleep we parked there on property and we walked to alamo the mall went to fiesta events very convenient location. The view was amazing we saw the hemisphere and LA Villita. The building was so quiet had nice relaxing music and we loved it will be coming back. Rooms were clean comfy beds clean bathrooms awesome historic hotel
Disliked: Maybe next time have cribs to rent as I traveled with my 3 month old granddaughter.

Liked: WE did not have breakfast . The hotel decor was tired . The bed and linen were very clean and fresh.The location is absolutely fantastic as you can walk out the door and explore San Antonia on the river both north and south and easy access to the Plaza and the Alamo. This is its real benefit.
Disliked: The pictures are not a fair representation on the hotel ! The balaconies are not so green and actually overlook a massive car park!! The decor is very tired looking! Location made up for this for us.

Liked: The historic preservation and presentation was very nice. The proximity to the Riverwalk, restaurants, and attraction made for easy walking. There is a very nice commons area with tables and chairs on each floor.
Disliked: We had trouble with the TV, ceiling fan didnt work.
