Awesome

Liked: Couldn't ask for a more beautiful location with breath takin vies of the Bow river and surrounding Rockies. The staffers, who lodge on site as well, were very friendly, energetic, and polite. Austin, our pre-dinner bartender, mixed up some teriffic drinks and provided tidbits of Lake Louise and Canadian lore.

Good

Liked: Location
Disliked: Stayed there about 40 years ago and didn?t look like anything had been updated, except maybe the dining room. Some landscaping around the parking lot is also needed.

End of season is not...

Disliked: The property is quite old. The small stand-up shower in our King Suite was disgusting. The price is high for what you get. The experience is great, if you don?t spend any time in your room. We were there the night before they closed for the season but still were charged full price for the room, which was a huge disappointment for the amount of money we paid.

Relaxing stay with a nice...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food (dinner and breakfast) was good. The location is very isolated and we got a room with a nice view of Bow Lake. The interior of the dining room was impressive with stuffed Canadian animals on its walls, which was very interesting. There is a pool table and also a nice souvenir shop.
Disliked: Our room was quite cold with a weak heater. The bathroom was very small with a small shower space and toilet room. The price of the stay was a bit expensive. No kettle or hot drink facility inside the room.

Spectacular!

Liked: Such a beautiful, historic log building! The staff were fantastic! They let us check in early after doing the spectacular walk to the Bow Glacier Falls. Our room and the restaurant had amazing views of Bow Mountain and the lake. Everything was awesome! Be aware, because of the age of the building there is some muffled noise from other rooms, but a quiet policy after 10pm. Fantastic food (but on the expensive side).
