Liked: The location is great. The rooms are so cute and have a lot of character.
Disliked: We were on the first floor. The noise from the people upstairs kept us up all night the walls and ceilings are paper thin.

Overall! I'd stay here again
Liked: I like the fact it was only a few blocks from shops, eateries and tours
I love the history and architecture of the motel and the courtyard was beautiful
Disliked: I didnt like the fact that there was no smoking area You would think that we could have smoked in the courtyard but NO we had to smoke in front of the building or in the dark area out back where parking was. The rooms were musty, but what do you expect in an old home built in the 17/1800's!. I brought febrezze, lysol and plug in, no biggy there.

?Not my problem?...
Disliked: Front desk clerk, the fact it let us book as a party of 6 with 1 room and 2 full beds and if we wanted that fixed we had to pay more. The clerk and ?manager? were absolutely rude. He told me to just go back to my room or he would call security on me. And that if I didn?t like it I could go find a new place, at 10:30pm with kids in tow.The bed is wretched. Like sleeping on the floor. Towels look like they are years old and used to wash cars/floors, torn and stringy. We didn?t have any toilet paper, maybe 1/2 a roll. The first room we were in was unlocked and open when we went in and you felt like you were going to fall through the floor.Worst experience of my life.So much for my first time in NOLA, if I didn?t know any better I would never, EVER come back just based on this hotel and their staff.
