Liked: Location, friendly, cleanliness
Disliked: The bay maries keeping the cooked breakfast hot. The lids were very awkward to place. They could do with being on a hinge, so you can hold up when getting breakfast

Disliked: Bit disappointed with the spa facilities. The jacuzzi wasn't very clean and the sauna and steam room weren't on to start with .Also facilities nit large enough to accommodate more than 5 people at any one time.There were 8 people there when we were there.Also no warning beforehand that the treatment room was for 2 people so a bit surprised having to have a treatment with my friend.

Disliked: We've been to the hotel before so knew it was lovely. Nice room overlooking the swimming pool. Clean and comfortable.The only comment is the lack of information in the room. No instructions on how to work the TV. No checkout time. No idea how to call reception. Might seem petty but this is important. Once my husband had been down to reception someone came and advised us.

Disliked: Booked hotel as it had a spa. but had tog pre book the spa , which is unusual , and there wasn't availability during our stay.

Perfect location for visiting Matlock...

Liked: Although the building is in need of refurbishment outside, the bedroom overlooking the pool was well presented, clean, comfortable and in a very quiet location. The breakfast was delicious and staff are very welcoming. Perfect location for a 10 minute walk into Matlock Bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

Ok, but wouldn’t go back.

Liked: Great Location, nice & quiet
Disliked: Long way to walk to room 77 carrying suitcases upstairs & through loads of doors. Also the room was only set up for two guests despite us booking for 4 people, so only two bath towels, 2 glasses, 2 biscuits etc. We were disappointed that our children couldn’t use the spa & swimming pool.
