A lovely break in a...

Liked: This was our second visit and we weren't disappointed. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. The grounds are great for walking and lovely not just to see the Heilan Coos but also a red squirrel. Staff very helpful.

Excellent Hotel in every Way

Liked: We were given a suite, even although we paid the standard room price. The building, hotel location, room, staff and food were all exceptional.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Room is a good size. Reception & breakfast staff pleasant
Disliked: Breakfast just ok. Cooked breakfast, black pudding & potato bread not great.This is a tired old hotel that needs updating.No atmosphere, felt like there was no one else in the hotel until we saw some people at breakfast.No one serving in the bar, asked at reception and they said they’d get someone but no one arrived
