Family run businesses are always...
Liked: Mostly clean & comfortable. Great location next to a Tim Hortons, & convenient to City centre. Will likely stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing significant.

Liked: Deasnt if your emergency but if you have a choice don't go.
Disliked: I think buddy over charged me and gave me the wrong room. Bed not that comfortable.

It is okay to stay...
Liked: The price on Booking was cheap, not the price they tried to charge me.
Disliked: The owner did not look at our reservation through Booking, while I pointed out multiple times that we had a reservation. He asked to fill a form instead and he tried to give us two rooms for a higher price. We told him that we want the room that we reserved for the price we agreed to on Booking. Then he said to us: "You don't have any money or what?". I don't think this is appropriate to say to customers. After that he still charged us too much, as according to him the price on Booking is 15% tax excluded. I told he that this is not the case but he still didn't want to give us the room for the price of our reservation, so I paid extra. I told him that I would call Booking for this and he told me that I could do so, because he was sure the price was excluding 15% tax. When we called Booking, they told us we were right (taxes are included in the price) and that they would contact the owner. After a while the owner called us that he would refund us 10 CAD cash, but I told him that we wanted back the exact amount that he overcharged us through a Visa refund. So he did. Then he told us that the 15% was the amount that booking charged him, but of course this is not something the customers should pay... So please check that he charges you the correct amount!
