Exceptional

Convenient stop for a comfortable...

Liked: Great location right on Historic Route 66 (and just off the interstate, as well). Mini-fridge and microwave in room. Outside entry to room. Comfy bed.
Disliked: I frequently stay at Motel 6 because it is pet friendly and I travel with 2 dogs. One thing I usually like is the absence of carpet in the rooms, which is preferable IMO if you're staying in a room that has hosted other pets. (Pets leave their scent on carpet much more obviously than a bare floor and sometimes my dogs go crazy sniffing and rolling in a room with carpet due to the smell of previous occupants.) This Motel 6 had carpet. No big deal but it was a downside for me.

Decent enough for the price....

Liked: Our room was clean, and the motel was quiet. There are a lot of big grass patches for dogs to go to the bathroom. There is no additional pet fee for staying.
Disliked: The fire alarm kept going off when we were showering. That usually means the fire alarms are old and need to be replaced. The manager wasn't wearing a mask even though it clearly states masks are required on-premise. No other workers were wearing masks. We requested two extra clean towels, and the manager stated we would receive them when the housekeeper came to clean the room. However, our room was never cleaned, and we didn't receive our towels until we went and asked for them again. There was no outside trash to put dog waste in.

This absolutely ruined my trip...

Liked: There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD to say of this place, I HAVE NO WORDS. I've been to a third world country this place was way more disgusting.
Disliked: Anything could have been better to begin with the leaking ceiling and mildew i feel I've been poisoned.

Pleasant

Disliked: The bathtub was a hazard. It was coated with some.kind of oily substance that was.slicker than ice. The bathroom was really really tiny. It was clean and quiet, but the bathroom was a real pain and the tub almost cost me a bad fall.

Liked: Breakfast was perfect, so nice to see a company not use covid 19 as an excuse to not honor breakfast.
Disliked: nothing

Dependable Motel 6.

Liked: This is a basic Motel 6. Easy friendly check-in. Clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, fridge, microwave, cable tv, working a/c. Relatively quiet. Plenty of parking near room. Conveniently located across from filling station.
Disliked: Two chairs but no table or desk to sit at. Had to eat and do paperwork on the bed. Somewhat inconvenient. Slight gap between bottom of door and door frame when door is closed.

Exceptional

It sucked!

Liked: Nothing. At all.
Disliked: Could have had the things shown on their page. They did not. No pool, No breakfast, Terrible room, Unusable door key (three times). Condition of entire place was poor.
