Good, comfortable, and inexpensive.

Liked: The place is kept clean. The fixtures work and everything is in good condition.

Many positives to possibly outweigh...

Liked: The bathroom was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable. They provided hand sanitizer in the room and the tv remote was covered by a plastic bag. There was lots of space to store your luggage and there was a luggage carrier accessible so transporting luggage to the room was easy.
Disliked: The carpet in the room was a little dingy. I wish that they would change it to the faux wood floors like other hotel chains are doing nowadays. I think the other guests might have been a bit rowdy and the rooms were not very soundproof so falling asleep was a little tough. The hotel is situated in a dreary location.

Budget priced hotel, good for...

Liked: A basic room was what we expected and what we got. Really all we needed as we were travelling and just wanted to stay for the night. We did come to realize that there are 2 Microtels in the area and we ended up at this one which is more "downtown" as opposed to the one that was closer to Tamarack and the highway - my mistake. But the room was clean, comfortable, and the heater in the room was quiet so we slept well.
Disliked: There wasn't any breakfast - we may have just been too late or they may have not have any due to COVID, unsure. The wifi didn't work for us - not a big problem, we used our data. Finally, there were construction workers in the adjoining rooms and I believe they were smoking because we smelled it - not much the hotel can do about that. I did notice that the bathroom fan was running when we checked into the room so it may have been that housekeeping noticed the problem and was trying to air it out. Again, not a big deal but worth a mention if that is a problem for others.

Liked: Very clean and quiet location is convenient would definitely give a 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Disliked: Everything was up to standards

Disliked: We liked everything, but woke up with ants all over nitestand. Reported to front desk.

Great adorable place to stay!

Liked: I liked how close it was to the highway, so it was easy for us to get to the New River Gorge NPP. The room was comfortable and clean (if not new).
Disliked: No pancake maker or coffee or juice! The other Microtels we stayed in had these and it made up for the (understandable) disappearance of the breakfast spread. Also, the one chair in the room was functional but had old stains and had a cigarette burn.
