Amazing view and nice location

Beautiful and quiet location for...

Liked: Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable bed, spacious condo, nicely laid out. Loved how quiet it was all day, just the sound of the birds, wind, waves. Everything in the condo functioned well. Appreciated the security of a gated community and really nice staff.
Disliked: Not a dislike, per se, but I was hoping for a sunset view from our lanai, but our unit faced north. We walked around the building and enjoyed the sunset on the golf course. We were not informed that mid stay housekeeping would occur (we were told NO housekeeping for the duration of our stay), and while I appreciated the tidying up, I didn't know they would run the dishwasher without checking if it was necessary. We used it as a dish drying rack and had our french press and thermoses that are not dishwasher safe, so they got damaged. However, they communicated promptly and reimbursed us the cost of the damaged equipment.

I don’t recommend this area...

Liked: very large condo with great lanai, kitchen and laundry
Disliked: This Waikoloa complex is very remote from beaches/water activities and nothing is walking distance from the units. nearby beach has very limited parking but it’s too far to walk to. Complex is really only good for golfers. No staff in evenings to help with issues. unit carpet was old and stained, master bed very high and not terribly comfortable. Guest room set up with 2 beds but only one views tv. our unit was surrounded by construction in adjacent units. carry out food in area is very limited and no late hours.

Never Get a Chance to...

Liked: Security guard, Keely was extremely helpful and attentive.Room was nice.Chris and staff was helpful at the office on 10/27.
Disliked: Check in was terrible and unorganized. Property is pitch black at night and staff couldn't tell me where A Bldg was, much less on right or left side of the road. Lock box was mislabeled with #12. When I couldn't find the box numbered 14 as I was told to look for, Irene asked me if I tried the combination on #12. No more than I would try to use room keys in the same manner!
