Beautiful property in a great...
Liked: Staff is still very inexperienced, although cheerful and trying hard. No concierge and limited knowledge of area restaurants or ability to make reservations. Limited knowledge of local transportation (to airport, eg) and the house driver was neither around nor available. Food at St Bibiana was mediocre and overpriced. However, staff was very friendly and room (upgraded; thank you!) was lovely although lacking in furniture (bureau or drawers for clothes; chair for desk). Bathroom a little overdone with huge tub but small shower (?) The hotel is beautifully designed and I get it that it's still new, but to pay nearly $900 for a Friday night stay - I expect a better trained staff! I'm sure they'll work out the kinks and it will be a fabulous place to stay.
Disliked: See above...

Superb
Liked: Beautiful. Restaurant was exceptional. Location is perfect across from Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of the historic district. Bell hops were so helpful and friendly. Set the tone for the stay.
Disliked: They haven't been open for that long and we found some inconsistencies in what we were told. A simple handout upon check-in with food offerings at the pool, the lobby and in the restaurant would have helped.

You will be in awe...
Liked: You will be in awe of the beauty of this property. Lounging in the pool area, with its Caribbean allure alone is worth the stay. Not to be outdone by the beauty of the hotel is the attentiveness of the Staff. Simply put, they are AMAZING. You will genuinely feel that your satisfaction is their primary goal. Thank you to Jasmine and the entire staff at Hotel Bardo for making this a Valentine’s getaway that my wife and I will NEVER forget

Liked: Location
Disliked: The concierge floor was disappointing. In the past there was a wonderful happy hour with great wines and tasty appetizers. Of coarse you pay for it by being on this floor. This time there was water and bags of chips with no attendant. We were told that wine and appetizers are no longer available. Breakfast was available but not as elaborate as before. This was disappointing as there is no change in the price of the rooms. Actually the rooms on the lower level are bigger than the concierge level. Don't waste your money
