Liked: the location is perfect
Disliked: the person who attended me was not friendly. I asked to extend for one night and they charged me triple the rate I was previously paying without notifying me. I asked for a cheaper option they told me no and I had to go. the refund took more than 6 days

Bad night?s sleep
Liked: Budget option in a good location, room nice and clean
Disliked: Room was not at all sound proof and other guesses were smoking inside and playing music until 4am. Despite having the windows closed, our room stunk of cigarette smoke.As a female, I didn?t feel comfortable nocking on door requesting them to stop. I get that unfortunately some guest will play music in their rooms and it?s just luck of the draw. I told the staff in the morning about the smoking and the response was defensive. I was told that if someone was smoking inside, the smoke alarms would have gone off.

Disliked: This guest house is issuing physical room keys which open multiple guests rooms!! No action taken in the week after reporting.

Clean room, great location, handy...
Liked: I love it?s location, handy to beach and shops, close to everything you want to do in Manly, easy to get to Sydney or wherever you want to go. Room was small but had everything you need, was clean, seemed to have thought of everything you need for a stay. Love that it?s an old building, not an apartment block and that there is a big outside area where you can sit & enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
Disliked: Bed & pillows could do with an upgrade, but ok seeing as it was only for 2 nights. Also a few more tea bags, only 2 in a double room for 2 nights (I did mean to bring some myself as I don?t really expect that many will be supplied wherever I stay)

Disliked: Communication is extremely poor! Both through booking.com and the management of property. We didn?t receive our code to obtain keys via email until 4.15pm on Friday. We tried calling/ texting/ emailed and tried live chatting. We couldn?t get hold of anyone! We were waiting with 3 children to finally receive an email with a code
