Trina and Shai?s Lilikoi Inn...
Liked: Trina and Shai were wonderful hosts. Upon arrival they greeted us with fruit smoothies. They gave us suggestions on where to eat dinner and the best beaches. Breakfast was amazing both days! Fresh papaya and lilikoi bowls, Kona coffee grown on their property, fresh juice, veggie sausage frittata?s and a Spanish dish with over easy eggs. They asked us about any food allergies or preferences, lucky for them we eat anything and everything.
Disliked: We loved everything about the Lilikoi Inn! Shai cut a stalk of ripe bananas one morning and told us about all the different fruit trees they had. Such nice, gracious hosts.

Liked: Full of character. Jungle setting, surrounded by fruit trees, palms and exotic, flowering bushes. Lovely decor - our room was beautiful blue and white bedding and dark wood floor - and fantastic dining deck overlooking the ocean from high above. Lovely bath and shower in our spacious room. Short drive to good local restaurant and down into town. Very convenient for many great trips. Free parking.Hosts were amazing. Full of local knowledge and tips to special, out of the way places. Breakfasts - cooked by ex-chef co-owner - were out of this world, with fresh papaya from the garden, eggs from the chickens and wonderful Lilikoi own brand coffee.
Disliked: Very steep drive up. SUV best!

Liked: Beautiful location and friendly hosts
Disliked: Breakfast wasn?t flexible re timing and there was too much cooked food. Simpler buffet style would have suited us better

Liked: Located in a beautiful lush tropical setting on the Kailua Kona mountainside. The hospitality of our hosts Trina and Shai and Shai's excellent breakfasts were awesome. Also Shai makes the best shakshuka I have ever had. The lanai provides an expansive breathtaking view of the Kona Coast and gorgeous sunsets.
Disliked: Although there is a guest kitchen with many kitchen amenities it did not have a coffee maker so I wasn't able to enjoy a quiet early morning cup of coffee which would have made our stay even more pleasant.

Amazing breakfast, awesome owners, coming...
Liked: The breakfast was one of the highlights of staying at Lillikoi Inn. Shai is an amazing cook and prides himself in making something different each morning. We were excited to see what would be for breakfast the next morning. Its a great setting on a big communal table overlooking the mountains to the ocean and having chats with other guests and owners.
Disliked: Everything was amazing
