Liked: Everything was great! Even being located right on 101, it was surprisingly quiet and very comfortable! Within walking distance to great bars, restaurants and beautiful beaches! The kitchenette in our room was more like a full kitchen which made it great for travelers staying longer than a few nights. Such a cute, cozy, quiet place. Would definitely recommend! Todd at the desk was more than kind and offered some great recommendations for food spots along 101. Can't wait to return.

Liked: The location is amazing and the price is fantastic for what you get. The hotel is a little run down but for the location and the price it's a steal. Most hotels in that area for that price are terrible in comparison.

Disappointing

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Refrigerator noise off and on all night, needs totally new replacement. Foot traffic all hours of night, upstairs, inside and outside. SO NOISY ! The train noise is pretty loud. While the hotel is located close to everything, it has major drawbacks.

Liked: Great location, clean and friendly. A walking distance to the store, cafes and the beach. Grandview Surf Beach and Leucadia State Beach are the closest but you can also walk to South Carlsbad State Beach.
Disliked: I missed having a little balcony or a deck to be able to eat outside the room. The patio is very nice but also a parking lot.

Liked: Such a charming property! The room was bigger than I anticipated and I had a decent sized kitchenette with everything I needed. Great location, I walked all over Leucadia and Encinitas. Awesome restaurants in the area and just a short walk to the beach. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a little coastal get away. I actually added a day because I was enjoying my stay so much. Nothing super fancy or bougie, just a cute & charming, clean, comfortable place in an awesome location.
Disliked: It didn't really bother me, but if you need a silent night, the train does go by a few times. My room was right next to the street so you do hear people parking and cars going by. Personally, I slept like a log and didn't mind it at all.
