Liked: The king suite with a fireplace was very nice - and the hotel sent up a bottle of champagne for our anniversary, very sweet.
Disliked: I would like to be able to use the fireplace in the room. When we stay in Half Moon Bay, there are working fireplaces in the rooms.

Liked: The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent. Downtown Lafayette is so cute with lots of great shots and restaurants, and is so easily accessible from the hotel, as is Lafayette, Reservoir, and BART. The pool was well heated for a winter stay.
Disliked: The pool seating area is rather small. It was just fine for a winter day, as there were not many others using the space, but in warmer months, it can get very full and be hard to find a spot..

Disliked: If you are arriving on Sunday you better arrive by 8:00PM or you won’t be able to eat dinner or have drinks.
