I will definitely let people know how great my stay was at La Quinta - the room, the service, and the breakfast was delicious. The people there were super nice too!

Disliked: Make sure you don't light a candle or anything especially if you're any kind of "so called black skin" it will be used against you at the hotel in Joplin mo... La Quinta inn. I have worked several jobs in housekeeping and I've had plenty of rooms that people smoked in but I'd never charge their card 250 . The room didn't smell like smoke only sage ....and it was lit the day before....hie could she smell it when it was lit for. 3 minutes at the most and check out was inecy day....she saw ashes the little residue that fell apart and thought it was cigarettes...maybe the sage upset her demons she had no heart when it came down to that! She even threatened to call the cops because I asked her y did she charge my card as if I had no right to ask. It was no small amount of money to take...I'm almost 100 percent sure that whomever stayed in that room after me , their vibe was good and clean..staff had a bad day and wanted to complain about nothing. Lesson learned ... never stay at La Quinta in

Wonderful vacation stay!

Liked: The breakfast buffet was the best I have had at any hotel. I loved the 2 hot tubs. And the location being connected to old Chicago was awesome
Disliked: This was such an amazing place to stay I can't think of one bad thing.

Happy with the room

Liked: Are room was right by the door I was traveling with my 2 children and sister so it was nice to have easy access in and out of the building quickly and the room was very clean
Disliked: My daughter had actually began to drown, I ended up saving her but I had to jump in to actually save her and lost my glasses in the pool I am completely blind without them I went to the front desk asking for help because I am so blind without them I can barely walk and explained the situation to her, she just asked some people to move so I could look then walked away before anything was even said to me. I ended up diving in once again and scrapping my hands around the bottom of the 6ft pool to find them which I did. Their just wasn’t much hospitality I was exhausted and just needed a little bit of help.
