Great hotel, horrible bed

Liked: Beautiful hotel, good location, spotlessly clean
Disliked: Beds were horribly uncomfortable. All occupants had backaches every morning, after spending the nights tossing and turning.

Very Bad Experience

Disliked: First thing entering the room, a foul smell of depilatory cream. The shower shampoo and conditionner was the cheapest quality possible, did not foam at all and did not wash much. Then I inspected the pillows only to find they were dirty, had hairs that did not belong to us on them, and also a spot of what looked like sexual body liquids... Very nasty.Then at night was the worst hotel sleeping experience of my life. We removed 2 of the filthy pillows and although the rest of them were okay and comfy, thebmattress was hard and I felt pain trying to sleep... and to top it all, at 4 AM, some genius that should be fired decided it was the best time for the snowing removal trucks to do their extremely noise parking cleaning and they finished around 5:30 AM. In short I couldn't sleep all night. But it didn't end there... on top of having FULLY prepaid the stay on Booking.com, they decided to charge us an extra ammount, because the price had changed in the meantime from 116$ to 119$ per night. It wasn't much, but it was the insult added to injury after all I experienced, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to change price after it has been fully prepaid.Also the day we left, the elevator smelled so foul, my wife and I had to hold our breath all the time being inside...

Overall pleasantly surprising place, comfort...

Liked: The room is extraordinary. Beautiful decor. Bed is comfortable.
Disliked: We would have liked a tea but there was only a small Nespresso coffee maker. We heard snowblowers during the night.

Good
