Pleasant surprise

Liked: The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. I?ve paid twice as much for far worse facilities. We ate there in the evening of our stay. The food was hot, well cooked and pleasantly served. Breakfast was nice, plentiful and again, well served. Social distancing measures were in place, professionally, (and politely), enforced and not too obtrusive.
Disliked: Given the price? What?s not to like?

Disliked: Walls are not very thick as you can hear the people in the room next door.

Nice little stopover for a...

Liked: Staff were excellent and very friendly. We Needed a bottle of water in the morning and reception went out of their way to locate a bottle of water for us to buy
Disliked: The thermostat knobs on the radiators had been removed and were on full so the room was like a sauna. I like the room to be warm but this was something else. The staff did apologise however it was an uncomfortable night.
