Disliked: A pity the cooked breakfasts were only at the weekend.

Peaceful but disappointing

Liked: The property is fairly quiet and it’s nice to be able to switch off in the middle of nowhere. Personally I find the beds comfortable as I like a firm mattress however my friend found this uncomfortable so if you don’t like a firm bed I wouldn’t suggest staying here.
Disliked: Having been a guest at this property several times before, I was quite sad to notice how downhill the quality/care for the venue is. There was rubbish underneath the bed/cabinets, there was a lot of mould in the bathroom particularly in the shower. The pricing of the food has dramatically increased, despite the quality decreasing. While the staff are lovely they made me and my guest feel very uncomfortable/awkward. The new layout of downstairs feels cluttered, I am not entirely sure why they changed the pub so much. The rooms need a bit of TLC in the concept of paint/thorough clean.

Liked: Good breakfast choices, overall nice atmosphere.
Disliked: The dinner !!! made two of us very ill that night. Didn't have first choice(s) for dinner, then two of us who had the same thing for dinner (fish and chips) were both ill during the night, the meal was very greasy so we expect this was the reason.

Liked: Room was very comfortable and well laid out everything you needed was provided. Staff all welcoming, helpful and very attentive could not do enough for you. Great food and continental breakfast everything you could ask for. Definately stay again.
