Overall a lovely stay and so close to Kew gardens, 5-10 min walk away also tesco etc just down the road
Liked: Check in staff very good, nice bar and outdoor garden
Disliked: Breakfast staff very poor, very slow service, waited 40 mins and had to ask twice where the breakfast was. people who came down after us were checking out by the time we came out of breakfast!!No milk in room for the hot drinks. Parking a nightmare nearby if you arrive before midday as it is permit holders only on nearly all roads nearby

I would not visit again
Liked: Lovely period building and location ideal.
Disliked: Room was quite small and bed uncomfortable. The breakfast was terrible! really cheap produce and not cooked sufficiently. Stale bread and tasteless baked beans. Coffee wasn’t even nice. The staff though were really nice and apologetic to us. Which is a shame.

A very convenient and comfort...
Liked: Fantastic location for visiting Kew Gardens and very close to nearest train station for access into London. Located on an attractive road in a very smart part of London with lots of little shops and eateries nearby. The bar in the hotel is spacious and breakfast choice was good.
Disliked: Rooms were a little tired and dated.

Great location , dreadful customer...
Liked: Great location , not bad size room ,
Disliked: Dark and dated room , window only opened 6 inches or so , not good on an excessive hot night, Fan supplied but only blew hot air around . Not the friendliest of staff , booked lunch but totally ignored on arrival so walked out and found a much more hospitable restaurant , a few weeks before the stay my mum passed away unexpectedly, tried to cancel under exceptional circumstances as I felt I wouldn’t be in the mood for staying . Was told no refund allowed as I had 1 hour grace period to cancel if I changed my mind , replied my mum was still alive during that generous grace period so didn’t feel the need to cancel ! No empathy at all , I knew there was no refund on paying but under such circumstances thought they might allow it, they could easily have re sold the room as it was Kew music weekend , I’ve never been to such a badly managed restaurant or hotel , so unfriendly , no customer service even on a booked special occasion.

Great stay, exceeded my expectations...
Liked: Great location for Kew Gardens Festival. The room was nicely decorated and quiet...and staff very helpful. Parking nearby was super easy and free with residents parking restriction of only 10am-12pm
Disliked: The rooms in the hotel were clean, however the walls were scuffed and could do with a re-paint.
