Great location - frustratingly small...
Liked: Great location. London feel.
Disliked: Frustratingly SmallYou should know there are different types of single rooms. I was traveling with my friend and we each got a single room at the Kensington hotel. Hers had the bed lengthwise, by the window (room 10). My room had the bed sideways across the window (room 5). Room 10 was larger, more comfortable, bigger bathroom, bigger closet. Just enough space to be comfortable.Room 5 was frustratingly small. Nowhere to put luggage, no shelves, no counter space in the bathroom. I couldn’t even put my arms out to my sides and not touch the walls.It would be fine for one night, but I was there 4… and I can’t recommend.Room 5 is smaller than the smallest room on a cruise ship. They also never changed the sheets or pillowcases. In London, with temperatures near 90 degrees and no air conditioning, sweat was common during sleep & fresh sheets at least once would have been nice.

Disappointing
Liked: Location, cleanliness, toiletries
Disliked: Far too hot and suffocating. Warmer in that room even than outside! Terrible. Window hardly opened onto small enclosed space that had no airflow. No fan. No space in room. Too cramped. Hated it. Thought expensive compared to alternatives in London.

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Did not have any elevator. Too many steps. Not suitable for seniors who have mobility issue's.

Great location for the price!
Liked: Good room size, I luckily got upgraded to a double room. Comfortable bed, good facilities in room. Great location. Good for London prices. Nice staff, happy to store luggage on check out.
Disliked: I completely forgot I booked a hotel with no air conditioning (my fault) so it was quite hot on arrival. Pedestal fan came in handy and did a good job. Shower head needs replacing, sprays everywhere but you.

Over exceeding expectations
Liked: Staff we’re excellent really helpful, wanted to drop back off as we were early and had to get to a show, they checked room and allows us to check in early as room was ready.
Disliked: No breakfast available at this hotel but lots of places around the corner that offered so not all bad.
